Our approach
How we might work with you
KnowledgeWise can work with you through a complete programme development
cycle or complement your in-house resources at particular points in the
process.
The KnowledgeWise development model

Our philosophy
Key to our approach is that, at the end of any programme, what has been learned needs to be exceeded by the capacity to learn more. In today's fast-changing environment what we know today is not sufficient for tomorrow – we constantly need to learn anew.
Our belief, therefore, is that to know how is more important than to know what and to know where is more important than both. That's KnowledgeWise.
Needs Analysis – Using a range of appropriate methods we can assess your needs. This could involve face-to-face or telephone interviews with relevant staff, observing teams at work, conducting focus groups. We would present the result of our assessment to you with a range of potential ways in which the identified needs could be met.
Proposition development – Following agreement on the most appropriate way to move forward, we will develop a detailed proposition for developing the solution. This will usually include specifying objectives, methods of delivery and evaluation criteria, as well as outlining costs.
Programme design – At this stage we put the flesh on the bones of the programme that delivers the agreed solution. This will include specifying the instructional design, 'look and feel', content details, delivery and evaluation methods.
Project planning – After discussion with and agreement on the proposition and design, we will draw up a detailed project plan with appropriate milestones for delivering the solution.
Programme development – This is a period of intense activity: realising the design – in print, on screen or face-to-face – and scripting, editing and proofing the written the elements of the programme.
Implementation – Depending on the programme, this might involve face-to-face sessions, launching an interactive programme on the internet, distributing workbooks, or a combination of these and other methods.
Evaluation – We will produce a detailed evaluation of the outcomes of the project and any suggested future requirements.
Follow-up – We do not espouse the 'cut and run' philosophy. We would like to stay around to help ensure the positive outcomes from the programme become embedded into your organisation.
