Developing the professional skills of FE teachers

Working with a major London Further Education College, we developed a series of nine e-learning programmes exploring a variety of issues for teachers in the FE sector.

Each programme uses specially shot video with real teachers and students to give the programme authenticity, while activities relating to the various real scenarios challenge learners to review their own practices and develop their skills.

Topics covered include classroom management, absence management, initial, formative and summative assessment, integrating functional skills into the curriculum, using ICT.
