Case study [7]:
Technical training
Working for a major high street bank, we developed, within a very tight timeframe, a series of learning modules that took business development managers through the complex processes of business risk assessment. The risk assessment was carried out by specialist software, but the managers needed to understand what variables to put into the system and, even more importantly, how to analyse the results generated by the software so that meaningful decisions could be made.
Having got to grips with the software ourselves – no mean feat for non-bankers – we were then required to generate a large number of exemplars and case studies to help exercise the managers' skills in interpreting the results.
