Website design
The client, a UK manufacturer and supplier of voice and data networking equipment, wanted to update an existing website – one of the first produced by KnowledgeWise personnel – while at the same time rebranding the business. We designed the company's new logo as well as the new website.
On the website, a two-column layout is employed as a flexible container to accommodate the different kinds of textual and graphical content demanded by product information, case studies, company profiles and technical articles. The colour scheme has recently been redesigned in silver and blue with the company's trademark red used more sparingly for emphasis and highlighting. A JavaScript-driven dropdown menu system allows visitors who are familiar with the technology or product range to navigate the site more quickly, and there is 'restricted' content for registered users.
The client now handles most of the updating and adding of content with technical support from KnowledgeWise.
