Conflict resolution

Helping with the instructional design and assessment of a series of e-learning modules relating to conflict resolution for the ambulance service to help responders to emergencies assess the risks they can face and act appropriately. The issues covered included causes of violence; assertive, aggressive and submissive behaviours; dynamic risk assessment; the law regarding self-defence and reasonable force; conflict resolution models; coping with lone working.

Time and people management

Working with a global client to develop a series of brief e-learning modules to form the precursor for face-to-face training in these areas. Each module was developed around a variety of scenarios relating to issues of time and people management. The outcomes and feedback for some of the scenarios could then be used as entry points to the face-to-face training.
